Know more about me
What is Sparrk? Is it Safe?

Hello! I’m Mark Bland — the founder and heart behind Sparrk Studios. The name “Sparrk” comes from a nickname I was given during my early career as a professional model in Europe and the U.S. After living in Barcelona for three years, I returned to the States where my friends thought my last name, Bland, was a bit too “bland.” So they started calling me “Mark Spark.” To make it even more unique, I added an extra “r” — and Sparrk Studios was born. And yes, I promise, Sparrk is completely safe!

A Lifelong Passion for Music

Music has been a part of my life since I was five years old, attending classical music classes that introduced me to great composers. My father gave me my first guitar at age 10, and since then I’ve explored everything from rock and blues bands to classical and Spanish flamenco guitar. I’m a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer who started writing and recording songs at 18. For me, music is the language of feelings — it transcends culture and speaks directly to the soul.

Why I Produce Music

Music is a universal force with the power to shape emotions, evoke memories, and even transform perceptions. Science shows that music activates multiple areas of the brain simultaneously, especially those tied to motor skills and cognitive function. Nothing else lights up the brain like music does. It resonates uniquely with every individual, making it deeply personal and powerful — and that’s why I produce.
